Cool weather and curried salmon (Mini-post)

Ahhhh, the weather is much nicer in Mountain View right now. It is no longer as hot as the basement of hell, its actually quite pleasant. The trip has been pretty cool thus far, cool enough to make me consider moving here. Ah but then the nephews would be all the way across the country and we can't have that. If I could only convince my sister to move...hmmmm.

Yesterday was fun, I got to do lunch with Matt Jr. Adam (I kid Adam, I kid). Adam is a great guy (he didn't pay me to say that) and pretty funny to boot. The food was great as usual. Who knew curried salmon would taste yummy? Anyway, yesterday I also almost hit a Very Important Individual with a door as I was walking out from getting some breakfast. Tres embarrassing but they seemed not to notice and/or care. I apologized and we both kept it moving.

Well, time for me to start today's adventure. Oh and congrats and good luck to Liz! :) Later folks.

Comments:
"Mini-post" -- heh heh, clever, Erica ;)

And hmm... maybe if *I* bump into that VIP, I'll see if they can arrange to have you AND your sister + nephews transplanted here! It'd be a pleasure to have you 'round :)

Adam's site must be naughty, our proxy has it blocked and classified as porn?!

I guess some must find it titilating, but I'm guessing your IT guys have just installed some cock-a-mamie overbroad filtering mechanism. I don't even talk about my parent's bitch (beautiful golden retriever dog), nor have I posted recipes lately featuring delicious shittake mushrooms.

Ah, I still remember when AOL users from Scunthorpe, England couldn't even post their city name in their profiles.

Personally, I always find it fascinating and often humorous to stay abreast of the latest filtering frenzy. Then again, maybe the guys that filter your network are just a bunch of humorless boobs.

Anyway... er, Jason...? Jason? Oh, damn, I guess he's blocked from your site now, too! :O
