Post worthy: Google notebook and Personalized homepage get updates

Awwww yay! Two of my flavorite Google products have been updated recently. I do believe that calls for a post, don't you?

So you may have noticed that there is a new tabbing feature on your Personalized Homepage. You may have also noticed that there are some new features in Notebook. If you haven't I'll give you a quick run down:

Can you guess the newest feature most interesting to me?

If you guessed Notebook on the homepage you win the prize (not a real one yet, that's later on in the post). How I adore being able to access my notebooks from my sidebar. Mind you, I have 8 notebooks right now and many of them have information I use fairly regularly. Extra bonus with the tabs as now I can have a bit of organization to what I want to see in my sidebar. It's very nice to be able to put away my personal calendar and e-mail when I'm sharing my screen with someone.

I love that the Personalized Homepage and the sidebar are becoming more and more useful. With the Gadget awards going on, I'm looking forward to seeing some great new and useful Gadgets. The particular gadget I'm waiting on is one that will allow me to post to Blogger. I'll send a brand new Google shirt (black, long -sleeved) to whomever creates it. Seriously.

So what new Gadgets would you like to see? Which ones are the most useful to you now?

It's been a long time...

Okay not that long, only a few weeks. You missed me though right? Of course you did. ;)

So for the past couple of weeks, I've started and deleted many a post, mainly because I wasn't inspired to write. Chalk today's inspiration up to things I love. This blog is called erica's joys right? Well here are some of the things that bring me joy.

And that, my friends, is a small collection of some of the nouns that bring me joy. :)

Meanwhile, back at the ranch (or leaving the ranch), I cancelled my Valleyschwag subscription. Not that it wasn't awesome or anything but they kept sending me shirts that were too big (women's XL != men's XL). They also kept sending me stuff from Ask and Yahoo. What am I going to do with that sort of stuff? Besides, I figure I have enough schwag to last me for a while.

While I'm thinking about it, I'd like to thank Apple for dropping the price of the refurbed 2 gig iPod nano's to $99. Thanks so much Apple, for doing that after I just paid $115 for a 1 gig mp3 player. Not that I don't think my Zen is great but seriously, 2 gigs always beats 1 gig. Always.

Enough talk, time for sleep. Early day tomorrow and all. Oh, before I go, I'd like to give a shoutout to the spell checker in Blogger. If it weren't for the spell checker, I'd never spell tomorrow correctly.
