Maybe it's time for a trip to Africa?

Maybe - at this point I know more white people (3) then black people (1) who've been to Africa. I should do something to even up the score.

BTW, do you have any extra iilwy invites?

Hmm. I have often thought about this myself. In fact I stumbled across a possible solution. If you're really interested in genealogy, perhaps you would consider this project.
Still need to do a bit of research but it looks very promising. Check out this video for more details.

Wow, if you know where your family is from in Africa, you should definitely take a trip over. I wish I could say I knew where my peeps came from so I could take a trip. Maybe I will turn up some sort of information when I go to Virginia for some genealogy research.

You're not alone - my best friends when I was growing up were Polish and I've made a lot of Asian friends since college and I'm jealous of the connection they have toward their ancestry.

I know my father's family is Cape Verdean but that's about all I have for heritage - unless you want to count the expectation that a) I can dance, b) I know where to score marijuana, and c) I grew up the ghetto.

Maybe it's time for a trip to Africa?
