My Lost Theories
2 statements of fact:
I caught up on and became addicted to Lost in 2007 when recording of American TV were the only things I could watch in Milan.
This post is sure to be full of spoilers so I will include a jump (I think the second ever for this blog) so you don’t accidentally see something you shouldn’t.
Ready? OK! (Which translates to “More after the jump”)
Lost Theories:
- The polar bear came from a point in time when the Island jumped to the Ice Ages.
- When the Dharma Initiative found the Island, they figured out a way to stabilize it. This is why Jin was all suited up in a Dharma uniform and acting like he’d been at that time for a while.
- The stabilization method the Dharma initiative discovered involved putting in the Numbers 4 8 15 16 23 42 every 108 minutes (which leads to my next theory).
- The Island does a time jump every 108 minutes.
- The Dharma initiative people referred to “saving the world” by putting in the numbers because they incorrectly interpreted the flashes as affecting the entire world instead of just the Island….OR
- Maybe they are trying to prevent the Island jumping to a point in time where the Island doesn’t exist. The existence of the Island is crucial to the existence of the world.
- Accidentally making the specifics of the second crash even more like the first, Kate will end up pregnant to mimic the pregnancy of Claire. Remember she and Jack went all bow chicka wow-wow right before leaving.
Stuff I still don’t understand (mind you there is much more, these are just the BIG ones):
- Where the monster came from. Maybe a point in the future where the monster exists?
- Why does the Island jump through time?
- Why is Jack’s father significant?
So that’s all. I’m tired and the bed is calling me. Let me know your thoughts on this (if your into Lost as much as I am).
