I haven't had any issues when ordering from Pizza Hut and I do so several times a month on a personal level and several more times for business meetings in-house. I just am sure not to click things that come up in a pop up window that encourage me to sign up for other companies. I place the order, look at the confirmation, and move on.

So many say they are 'scammed' but in truth I think they get click happy and sign up for services "just because the window was there"...I see this many times in my field of business (IT) where the "next" button is fodder for click happy users.

Take your time on the 'net, and read what you're signing up for. Pizza Hut is right, I went through and it offered several chances at opting out or in and if you opt in, that's your business.

I just ordered from them for the first time in a long time the other day, but their website totally failed on two different browsers. I couldn't add another item to my basket to save my life. I complained on Twitter, and haven't heard back. Looks like I will be leaving Pizza Hut alone for a very long time.
