Gripes
(Originally titled “Piss and Moan: Stuff that Annoys me”)
This was intended to be a blog post. I decided to make it a page so I can keep adding stuff on to it and removing things as they get fixed.
Delicious Library: Announcing that DL2 (that adds tasty social functionality) would ship at the same time as Leopard. 3 months after Leopard shipped, there isn’t even a public beta.
Audible: Allows you to build wishlists…that you can’t share! More on this in a future post (hint: they blame the problem on Loomia).
Flickr: Does not have a customizable hosted version. I want photos.ericabaker.com to be a Flickr powered gallery. Also, Flickr, let me choose how I want my photos to be displayed. I’d prefer my photos to be displayed with white borders on a black background.
Everybody and their mom: Using PDF’s when HTML could present the same information more accessibly. Cut that out please, PDF’s are not meant for web presentation.
iTunes: When I plug my iPod into my computer, how about telling me how much battery juice it has?
JetBlue: I love you, I really do. However, the lack of power on your planes is annoying. Please get some planes built for long haul/cross country flights that have power outlets in some seats.
Twitter: Downtime much? Please also let me get my tracking updates in ways other than the standard notification procedures. Even better, let me manage my tracked items in my settings.
